AVID Hd I/O 8X8X8 Pro Tools Analog And Digital Interface
Description AVID Hd I/O 8X8X8 Pro Tools Analog And Digital Interface The HD I/O 8x8x8 Analog from Avid is a high-performance Pro Tools HD Series audio interface that is professionally designed capable to completely integrate with Pro Tools HD systems. Available in three different configurations, this version is designed for providing an eight analog inputs and outputs, it comes with an additional 8 channels of AES/EBU I/O, or 8 channels of TDIF I/O, or 8 channels of ADAT Lightpipe. Although it bears a physical resemblance to previous interfaces, the HD I/O has been completely redesigned along with high quality converters and premium input and output circuitry. The interface is designed for providing a maximum performance, dependability, and control of all inputs, outputs, and routing right from the Pro Tools software interface. Sample rate conversion is available on the digital card. The Digital I/O card comes containing the connectors for eight channels each of AES/EBU I/O, TDIF I/O, and optical (ADAT) I/O. Only one digital format can be used at a time. A single card slot is available for further expansion. Note:A minimum of Pro Tools HD 8.1 or higher software is required to use this interface. A free update is available for download to all registered Pro Tools HD 8.x users. 8 input / 8 output analog audio interface with full Pro Tools|HD integration for complete input, output and routing control 8 channels of AES/EBU I/O in addition to the 2 fixed channels of AES/EBU available on the chassis Stereo AES/EBU, stereo S/PDIF and 8 channels of ADAT digital I/O with built-in sample rate conversion Pristine audio clarity and ultra low latency through state-of-the-art analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion, premium analog circuitry, and meticulous attention to design Open card slot for additional customization Track hotter signals and smooth out sounds with Curv, a built-in soft-knee limiter Dedicated Wordclock and Loop Sync I/O 32, 4-segment metering LEDs for accurate level monitoring Robust 2U rack-mountable chassis Connects to Pro Tools HD through a DigiLink Mini connection (cable and adaptor included) Specifications Converters 24-bit Sample Rates 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 and 192kHz Analog In 2 x 25-pin D-Sub (16 inputs) Analog Outputs 1 x 25-pin D-Sub (16 outputs) Digital Input Connectors 1 x 25-pin D-Sub AES/EBU (8 channels shared with output)1 x 25-pin D-Sub TDIF (8 channels shared with output)1 x Lightpipe ADAT optical1 x XLR AES/EBU (2 channels)1 x Lightpipe ADAT optical (also functions in 2-channel optical S/PDIF mode)1 x RCA coaxial S/PDIF Digital Output Connectors 1 x 25-pin D-Sub AES/EBU (8 channels shared with input)1 x 25-pin D-Sub TDIF (8 channels shared with input)1 x Lightpipe ADAT optical(1 x XLR AES/EBU (2 channels)1 x Lightpipe ADAT optical (also functions in 2-channel optical S/PDIF mode)1 x RCA coaxial S/PDIF Other Connectors 2 x BNC Wordclock I/O2 x BNC Loop Sync I/O2 x DigiLink Mini Ports1 x 9-pin Expansion Port MIDI In/Out No Headphone Output No THD + N ADC: -114dB (0.0002%)DAC: -110dB (0.00032%) Dynamic Range ADC: -122dBDAC: -125dB Frequency Response ADC: 20Hz to 20kHz, +/-0.03dBDAC: 20Hz to 20kHz, +/-0.15dB Power Requirements 100/240V, 50/60Hz, internal power supply Minimum System Requirements Due to constantly changing requirements, for comprehensive hardware specifications and system requirements, please refer to Avid's website at http://www.avid.com Dimensions (WxDxH) 2U rack-mountable chassis Weight 24 lb (10.89 kg) Specialties Curv and Soft Clip processingSingle expansion bay available
