SWV It's About Time RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum Album Award

RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum Award for SWV (Sisters with Voices) album It's About Time. The album, the group's debut, came out on Oct. 27, 1992. The album was certified 2x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA on Sept. 1, 1993 for two million copies sold.  On the strength of singles "I'm So into You", "Downtown", "Weak" (a #1 Billboard Hot 100 hit), a remixed version of "Right Here/Human Nature" and "You're Always on My Mind", the album peaked at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. By 1996 the album was certified 3x Multi-Platinum for three million copies sold.
