The stands nestle the MagSafe charging puck in place at their center, allowing the magnetic function of the puck to hold the phone to the stand. Made out of furniture-grade hardwoods, my iPhone stands are designed by me, cut out of hand-selected lumber, sanded until the surface is buttery smooth (320 grit), and sport 3 layers of hand-rubbed Odie's Oil finish that is non-toxic and food-safe (you could eat off these).
