DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATIONS FEATURES VIDEO + RESOURCES Petzl FREINO Z Carabiner The Petzl FREINO Z Carabiner has a friction spur for adding or adjusting friction during the descent. It is easy to use and compatible with I’D S, I’D L, I’D EVAC (versions starting in 2019) and RIG (versions starting in 2018) self-braking descenders. When rotated, it makes the descender loss-proof when transferred from the equipment loop to the ventral attachment point or anchor. It also includes the Keylock system to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner. The FREINO Z has the TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system with triple-action gate opening.
