Alexana 'Mosaic' Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, USA 2023

Formerly the 'Terroir Series' Pinot Noir. The ‘Mosaic’ Pinot Noir showcases the remarkable diversity of terroir found within Alexana’s two estate vineyards, located on the backside of the Dundee Hills. At its core is the Alexana Estate Vineyard, a site recognized twice in Wine Spectator’s TOP 100. This vineyard spans a unique confluence of volcanic and ancient marine sedimentary soils, featuring 32 distinct blocks that each highlight variations in soil, clone, and rootstock. In 2019, Dr. Revana established the Kinney Ranch Estate Vineyard, a historic site once home to a horse farm. Situated near Alexana Estate, it shares the same rare geology, creating a seamless extension of the region’s terroir. Both vineyards are farmed regeneratively, with grapes meticulously hand-harvested to preserve their individual character. Each block is fermented and aged separately, allowing its unique essence to shine before being blended into the final ‘Mosaic’ of Pinot Noir.
