Azalea 'Chojuho’  Satsuki Azalea With Orange -Red Blooms Zones 7-9 ‘Chojuho’ is such a unique azalea. The vibrant orange-red blooms are small and uniquely shaped. The thin petals on the star-like blossoms give the blooms a special appearance. The prominent stamens are exceptionally long in comparison to the small blooms, displaying the same orange-red color. The bloom period is from May through June. The blooms on ‘Chojuho’ are quite unusual as they last for quite a while.  According to Galle, the name even translates as “Treasure of Activity”, which likely speaks to this long blooming effect. The treasure of ‘Chojuho’ is that the orange-red blooms turn to a chartreuse green as they age. ‘Chojuho’ is especially popular for bonsai. ‘Chojuho’ may reach 2-3 ft in height by 3-4 ft in width in 10 years. ‘Chojuho’ is such a special satauki azalea that you will love in your garden. Note * All azaleas are 1 gallon containers and are not currently bonsai.   Limited Quantities Available !! As we
