The lobes are more finely dissected than most lace leafs. ‘Filigree’ or ‘Green Filigree’ as it is sometimes called, is a highly sought after tree that is not always readily available in the nursery trade.This Japanese maple cultivar is sure to awe you in the spring with its two-toned variegation. The border to the leaf is a bright yellow to lime green with a bright vein of lush green which give the appearance of variegation of white flecking. Eventually, as the summer begins the entire leaf is taken over by the lush green coloration making a truly beautiful, green dissectum. The shape of Filigree is cascading and similar to that of an open umbrella. In the autumn ‘Filigree’ turns an amazing array of deep yellow and gold. The growth pattern of this weeping Japan
