Made from laser cut aluminum, these oil cooler guards are meant to protect your oil cooler guard from rocks and debris that can be kicked up by the front tire.  The debris and rocks that are kicked up by the front wheel can cause bent fins which decrease the cooling efficiency of your oil cooler, but can also cause a puncture and cause your motorcycle to start leaking oil.
