Loving v. Virginia. This is the name of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court case won by Mildred and Richard Loving when the Court ruled that laws banning interracial marriage were unconstitutional. They were allowed to move back to Virginia, the state they were born and raised in, were formerly imprisoned in and later forced out of. They could be married, love each other and raise their children without fear of being arrested.  If it were not for them, many, if not all, mixed individuals would not (legally) exist today.  We celebrate them-- their sacrifice and their victory with The Loving Collection.  This enamel pin features the date of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court Case decision.   1in x .275in rubber backing soft enamel silver  distressed printing
