Louis Vuitton Butterfly Surprise Stephen Wilson Studio (North Carolina, USA) Embellished and embroidered de-constructed luxury bag, with up-cycled scarves 12"W x 26"H Framed in acrylic   For the Butterfly Surprise pieces, Stephen wanted to recreate a shopping bag out of his up-cycled luxury pieces. The piece starts with a luxury bag that is deconstructed, embroidered and then reconstructed back into a bag shape. Luxury scarf remnants are then draped and mounted so they appear to be flowing out of the bag. Embroidered butterflies are then dimensionally mounted to appear exploding out of the bag.
