Learn to Knit Brioche

Students will knit a two-color swatch in a straight-line Brioche, and will learn how to increase and decrease stitches for left-leaning and right-leaning Brioche shaping. With these skills, students will be able to complete Brioche projects offered in the future, including I Spread My Wings by Svetlana Ford, Brioche Topper by Laura Nelkin, and Advancing Lines Scarf by Lavonya Patricella. Instructor: Terri Bocklund (@stickaflicka) Prerequisites: Students must be proficient at knitting, purling, slip stitches, and long-tail casting on. Materials to bring:  2 skeins of DK or worsted weight yarn (one light color, one dark color) One short circular needle or two long double-pointed needles (sized appropriately for yarn choice)          Darning needle Refund and Cancellation Policy: There are no class refunds.
