Apistograma Cockatoo Dwarf Mega Orange

This variant of Apistogramma cacatuoides is one of the most colorful ones developed in the trade! Similar to the "Orange Flash" variant, it has nice vibrant orange fins.....however, the fun doesn't stop there for the "Mega Orange" variation; the orange bleeds into the body and converges at the lateral line area! If you're tired of the "Triple Reds," "Orange Flashes," or other cacatuoides variations, look no further! This is the cacatuoides variation for you! Similar to other variations of Apistogramma cacatuoides, the "Mega Orange" is an undemanding fish that will accept pH range from 5.5-7.7 and readily accepts most dry, frozen and live foods. Spawning is best triggered by feeding high quality frozen or live foods with lowering the pH to 6.0-6.5.
