Felting an Alpaca Hat with Brim

Program Description Learn to felt a hat with Brim. Start with carded alpaca fiber and turn it into a Shaped 3D form with your own two hands. Choose from various crown shapes (Fedora, Cowboy, dome, cloche, etc.). You do not need prior experience with felting to enjoy this class, however it is helpful to be good with your hands. Wear comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting wet. 1.) Organize fiber2.) Lay out fiber on flat form3.) Use hot soapy water to begin Felting process4.) Cut out flat form5.) Continue felting on 3D hat form6.) Rinse and reshape Required Supplies All materials and supplies will be provided. Wear clothes that you do not mind getting wet.
