Venetian Afternoon

9 x 12 original watercolor by Monica Lee Rich.  These watercolors began as Plein Air works where I began to play with the idea of adding "space" to my larger works. Many of the pieces became studies for larger works on canvas, which is one of the reasons I held on to the for some time. They mark a return to watercolor as a regular practice but with a unique approach as the color dances around the paper, leaving trails of delicate marks in its wake. This arrives in a white matt that is made for an 11 x 14-inch frame.  Shipping is free in the Continental US and $30 internationally.
