This guest, Father Walter Ciszek, loved our bread- even though it was not the dark wheat bread of his Russian days. He knew our original recipe- which we offer here. This recipe has a history. Its origin was a simple white bread. Our offer to help at a nearby Monastery Pilgrimage was accepted on condition we use their recipe. What a gift!
