Cinnamosma fragrans - Madagascar Saro is an aromatic evergreen tree that can reach up to 15 ft in height. Native to Madagascar, Saro's native name is Mandravasarotra, meaning "what keeps evil/illness away." It's commonly thought to help aid in respiratory, anti-bacterial, and immune deficiency issues. Saro is considered a top-tone oil with a pungent, fresh camphoric and slightly sweet fragrance. Some describe it as having a hint of citrus or lemony fragrance.This clean, effervescent, Ravintsara-like aroma is reminiscent of a combination of Cajeput, Neroli, and Tea Tree.
