Why Do I Need Jesus?

This is a question that’s extremely popular among our generation.Surely I can work hard, be a decent human being, give back to society, and attend church periodically and that be enough, right?Wrong. The Bible is very clear that: All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).This simply means that even on your best days, you are not good enough in comparison to God’s glory.Romans 6:23 teaches us that: The wages of sin is death.Man … to think that the payment for my wrong doing is spiritual death. To be eternally separated from God in an eternity called hell.BUT it doesn’t stop there! The end of the verse states that: The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord!This means that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and we believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we WILL be saved (Romans 10:9).Why do I need Jesus?Because without Him, you have no hope, no peace, no love, no future. But with Jesus, you have hope, peace, love, and a future which is eternity in heaven. It really is simple.No matter who you are, no matter where you’ve been, call out to Him. Admit you’re nothing without Him. Repent and turn from your wicked ways. Put your life in His hands by proclaiming, “Lord, I am nothing, but you are everything.”If you believe Jesus Christ is the son of God, that He died for your sin, that God raised Him from the dead, call on Him. He will save you.Why do I need Jesus?Because He has a plan, purpose, and path for your life.
