Urban Festival - A Pattern from Yarnison Designs
This listing is for a digital pattern download of the Urban Festival pattern from Yarnison Designs. About The Pattern, In The Designer's WordsThis shawl is a mash-up of Louise Tilbrook’s Fuss Free Festival Shawl (FFFS) and Yarnison’s Urban Hero Shawl. The pattern is super simple, very memorable, and can harness the wildest colours. You’ll use a couple of techniques to create the wedges and the edging – German short rows and i-cords. The pattern talks you through both and they are very easy to learn. As with the FFFS, you can keep knitting as long as you want, saving enough yarn for the edging as instructed, and it will easily adapt to any gauge or weight that takes your fancy. YarnYou will need two contrasting skeins, and to achieve the dimensions of the sample, these would be 100g skeins of fingering/4ply yarn (approximately 420m/460yd each).
