Cake Weave is a Layer Cake, Fat Quarter or Scrap friendly quilt or you can make this a two tone quilt with yardage! Definitely a beginner friendly quilt with simple patchwork. The Cake Weave quilt pattern was inspired structural beams. I made the quilt block to reflect the design element then rotated and happened upon a woven pattern that appeared.
