Allison Caesar, Mixed Media  Diptych-Painting: Before We Met Allison Caesar’s work is about materials and process, drawing inspiration from architecture, industrial landscapes and geometry. Using discarded materials from her public school classroom or tools from a hardware store, the premise is always collage. The outcome is chemistry. The work is highly intuitive and experimental. Born in San Francisco, raised in Philadelphia, Caesar received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Art in Boston, Massachusetts in 1987. Today she works in Los Angeles, California.
