(f)    This series of paintings was created with a loose thematic connection in mind, and while each piece is a completely separate stand alone work I imagine them also acting as stepping stones for an imagined story. “Behind the Mask” continues a theme that I explore often, that of man’s evolution and thoughts about our thin veneer of civility, the idea that humankind is just a hair’s breadth from reverting back to our less developed selves.
