B&M 81125 Console Quicksilver Shifter, 1968-1972 Chevelle

This console model is designed for a perfect fit in the factory console of your 1968-1972 Chevelle, and like all QuickSilver shifters, features a trigger-less shift handle design. To access Reverse or Forward gears when in Park you simply lift the handle and pull back and let the handle drop once in or past Reverse. Once out of Park, there's no need to lift the handle to shift gears until you either need to access Reverse or Park. From Drive, just lift the handle straight up and this will bypass the reverse lockout safety feature, then move the shift handle forward into Reverse or Park. It's just that easy! Also, the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA and IHRA safety regulations and won't allow you to accidentally over shift into reverse while making a pass at the strip.
