Raul Enmanuel - Sagitario

done in 2004  medium-  acrylic, charcoal, and material (wood particles, and moulding paste) on canvas. size - 50" x 40"       This is a wonderful example of Enmanuel's increasing command of the canvas medium. His texture, composition, symbology, and technical mastery continue to improve. This is his latest work, and though his imagery leans toward the abstract, he has hinted that these paintings are representative of feminine, divine beings of a benevolent, and supportive nature. There is great power in these paintings, and the imagery seems to be blended with the abstract, tropical landscape quality he has become known for.
