Baruj Salinas - Space Polyphony II

  This is an excellent example of recent, original Salinas works on paper The work is both stunning and profound. This work is watercolor, gouache, pastel, charcoal and graphite on archival paper. Baruj Salinas is the most significant, and well established contemporary artist this gallery represents. He has work in the permanent collections of over 35 museums, and has had over 150 solo shows worldwide, and a number of museum shows. This work is 30" x 44".   This Cuban Master lived in Barcelona in the 1970's, and studied with Joan Miro, Antoni Tapies. Salinas is now in his 80's. Baruj Salinas is a Cuban Postwar & Contemporary painter who was born in 1935. Salinas found early success as a painter and engraver. He is also an educator, having taught for many years at Miami Dade College. Salinas is regularly featured in solo shows in galleries in Europe and the United States.
