Red-backed jumping spiders (Phidippus johnsoni) are native to the the western US and Canada. Often considered one of the prettiest jumpers in the hobby as both males and females of this species will develop varying shades of red on their abdomens as they mature. Currently available specimens are captive bred 4th instar slings. These slings are well-started and are approximately 1/8th.
