Minnie Mouse Watch Custom Handmade into a Ballpoint Pen, Watch Parts, Gears, Steampunk

Minnie Mouse is the star of this custom steampunk art style pen.  A real Minnie Mouse wrist watch is disassembled and the parts including the watch face dial is curved to match the curvature of the pen.  The Minnie Mouse watch hour and minute hands are also included.  Gears and the watch face are attached to a chemically treated foil that has multi colored effects as it is held and moved in the light.  The parts attached to the body are cast in clear resin.  I then turn it to shape on a lathe, sand and polish to a glass-like clear finish. Mostly a pink color, but bright silvers and a hint of gold can been seen in varying light.  It resembles Mother of Pearl characteristics in appearance.  Lots of glitter-like iridescence in which fine colors, changeable with the angle of view or angle of illumination, are produced by the interference reflection.  This is a stunning one-of-a-kind pen.  I am not able to capture the true colors and features with a photograph. The metal components are plat
