Pop Art Inspired, Realistic Oil and Acrylic Painting on Oval Canvas, "Drowning Lessons"

A painting about a vampire who fell in love and drowned because she didn’t put her floaties on before jumping in, and never actually learned how to properly swim. She also didn’t wait 15 minutes after eating. (She’s not the sharpest fang out there). She sunk like a cold, living dead stone. This is by far my most time consuming, energy draining, emotion driven, and heartfelt painting to date. It is completely hand-drawn, and a completely original idea in terms of theme and visual. Absolutely one of a kind-much like the subject matter.
