Description: A mouth-blown glass dome on a stand made from sustainably sourced ash. The dome's natural leather toggle is knotted by hand. Designed for serving a single small cake, biscuits or cheese. Mouth-blown glass FSC-certified ash Hand-knotted natural leather Diameter: 22cm, Height: 29.5cm Materials & making: The contemporary Ivalo dome is mouth blown by skilled glassblowers. The rim of the dome is melted with a flame to achieve a rounded soft rim. A hole is cut and polished in the top through which a hand-knotted leather toggle is tied. The natural ash is sourced from sustainably-managed European forests and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. Care: Handwash the glass in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the wood and leather with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not leave immersed in water or place in a dishwasher. Allow to dry naturally.
