16.43ct Rough Opal from welo Ethiopia

Welo Ethiopian hydrophane opal mineral specimen with an amazing play of color.  Not only that, but this piece is very fine cutting material that will have a good yield. We recommend that this opal material NOT be submerged in water (unless it is being cut, water will keep it cool), and it should never have any oils applied to it. Also, due to the hydrophane nature of this opal, the weight can vary slightly with humidity.
