Close to My Heart Locket

The Close to My Heart Locket is the most customizable piece of jewelry we have. The front has your own debossed engraving – a footprint, handprint, pawprint, initials, a name, or a significant date – making each locket uniquely yours. Open it up to find another space on the left for a personal message, handwriting, text or meaningful phrase. The right side holds the keepsake stone, made with your own keepsake(s): breastmilk, ashes, lock of hair, pregnancy test, dried flowers, sand, anything special to you. I named this locket "Close to My Heart" because the one that you see in these photos is the locket I made for myself with my soul dog Mochi's ashes/fur/collar and engraved with his pawprint on the front. It is so special to me and it is the piece that I personally wear most often. It is how I always keep him close to my heart in a tangible way.
