Keep your Timpte trailer braking properly with this brake replacement kit for (2) axles. Forward Self Adjusting Brakes Fits common name brand axle: Dexter, Lippert, Rockwell American, Quality, AL-KO and more Bundle Include: (2) LH and (2) RH Brake BackersGel Filled Electrical ConnectorsBrake Mounting Hardware  Break In Period After you install these brakes, you’ll need to break them in.  Find a scenic country road or big parking lot.  Set your brake controller to its maximum setting and speed up to about 40 mph.  Use the brake controller manually to slow to about 20 mph.  Repeat this 15-20 times.  The goal is to get the brake shoes and magnet seated into your drums.  This will cause the brakes to get very hot, ideally 350F to 400F.   Note, you’ll want to let the brakes cool off every 10 cycles to avoid cracking the pad material.
