John Myer is a painter, poet, pianist, and master distiller whose family has farmed land around the Finger Lakes of New York since 1810. Myer Farm makes estate-grown, organic, field-to-flask whiskeys, vodka and gin, with a low carbon footprint. The four grain whiskey is what Myer’s calls “Bourbon’s sophisticated uncle” – made with a higher percentage of wheat, rye, and barley, alongside its 47% corn for a more complex palate. It’s smooth, round and sweet with a medium-light body and a touch of eucalyptus.
