2020 Bodega Stella Crinita Petit Verdot Valle De Uco - Mendoza, Argentina (750ml)

This Petit Verdot is cultivated at the foot of the Andes, in the Vista Flores region of the Uco Valley, in Mendoza, Argentina at an elevation 3,600 ft. Demeter certified since 2012, Bodega Stella Crinita is a small family run vineyard of 3 hectares. The grapes are fermented for 16 days in concrete or stainless steel to preserve fresh fruit notes. After fermentation, the wine is then aged for 14 months in concrete and oak barrels. A true medium body wine, the palate strikes a delicate harmony with dense ripe black fruit, earthiness, vanilla and spices while balancing acidity and drying tannins. Try with adobo braised lion’s mane mushrooms or a chinese barbeque pork.
