A firm, full-bodied blend of indigenous varietals - 50% Touriga Nacional, 20% Touriga Franca, 20% Tinta Roritz, 20% Tinta Barroca - from the Douro Superior, this is a modern twist on classic Portuguese red. Deep, dark and ripe with concentrated flavors of black cherry, leather and anise. It is ideally suited to meat, an assortment of medium to full-bodies cheeses as well as wild game.
