Waffle Face Foam Finishing Pads Two finishing pads come in a pack. 8" wide x 1" thick. This is the least aggressive of all waffle face foam pads. It is closest to a wool pad, less messy and less likely to impart scratches on the paint job. Use this waffle face finishing pad with a finishing compound to make the polish really "pop" and stand out even more. If one wants to add a wax (like carnauba wax) on top of the paint to using a machine, this would be the go-to pad due to its minimal abrasion.
