The Mercury Stereo shade system contains two components: A Shade Base and various shades. All shades are compatible with all bases. Your shade base attaches to your lenses or lens filters by friction, tightened or loosed via the silver thumbscrew on the top. We recommend standardizing your lenses with step-up rings to a universal 52mm filter size, and using a single 52mm Shade Base. However, other options are also available. This item includes only the Shade Base. You much purchase the shades separately.
