Parlorscope V1 to V2 backlight electronics upgrade for Parlorscopes purchased before July 2025. You will gain: brightness control short, 16" USB cable for cleaner, easier portable mode extension cable for static use (your choice of 6ft or 10ft) ability to use both diffusion plate and simple (inexpensive) slide carriers latest fit-and-finish aesthetic updates You will lose the ability to change backlight color. The new unit defaults to neutral white. Contact us if you need to retain color changing ability. Exchange option: Select this if you want to send in your old unit. Contact us and we'll give you instructions to ship it to us. It's easy to remove using just 5 phillips-head screws on the front side of the backlight unit. Purchase option: If you select this, we'll send you the upgraded unit, and you can keep your old one as well.  You'll still have to remove it and replace it with the new unit.   Note: This is just an upgraded backlight unit for Parlorscope produced before July 202
