Mercury Vertov 80 - 70mm Film

This new 70mm BW film has very fine grain, high resolving power, and a creamy look.  Compared to our Murnau 100 film, this lacks extended red sensitivity, giving it a more classic look. ISO 80. Unperforated. Suitable for use in the Mercury 65/70mm Panoramic Back, Mercury cut-film holders, and 70mm backs such as the Hasselblad A70 that have been all-perf modified. This film has a very thin base, allowing you to load almost twice as much film in one cassette as standard 65/70mm films. It is thinner than our Murnau film, and thus care should be taken when handling. Like all of our 65mm and 70mm films, this comes in a standard tin bulk can that protects it from moisture, damage, and X-rays, rolled on a standard 70mm bulk spool, ready to load into the Mercury Bulk Loader or vintage bulk loaders. Recommended processing: D-76 (stock) for 6 minutes.
