In Too Good for Violence - Social Perspectives Grade 6, students gain the insight and tools they need to become positive role models in their schools and communities. The skills promoted in this evidence-based prevention program boost students’ self-confidence and enhance their commitment to making healthy choices and reaching their goals on their journeys to live safe, healthy, and violence-free lives. Students practice setting reachable goals, making responsible decisions, and communicating effectively with pro-social peers in fun, interactive games, activities, and role-play. They are encouraged to consider the consequences of their actions before making decisions to avoid negative consequences and study various scenarios and work together to think of alternative affirmative choices to produce positive outcomes.
