Species - Hybodus basanus - Extinct Hybodont Shark Location - Western Kazakhstan Size - 0.50" wide Age - Upper Cretaceous (Santonian) - Appx 85 million years old Description - Uncommon Extinct Hybodont Shark teeth from the Late Cretaceous (appx 85 Million Years Old) of Kazakhstan. These will all be partial crowns only as the root almost never fossilizes on this species and even the crowns are almost impossible to find complete. Teeth average appx 1/2" wide.
