Circa 11th Century This reproduction Olmutz nasal helmet is made of 18 gauge steel. Also known as a Moravian helmet, it has a conical shape with a nose guard. The nose guard provides partial protection for the face while allowing much greater visibility than a full helmet. This medieval helm has an adjustable cloth liner with a chinstrap.
