The bottom layer is high-density compression-resistant foam to support weight distribution and extend the mattress life. The Low-Shear III cover is a 4-Way Stretch low moisture, super-durable, breathable, fluid-proof fabric that wipes clean for easy care while protecting sensitive skin against friction and shear damage. The bottom section of the mattress cover is slip-resistant for the patient’s safety.
