The MCCI® one wire DS18B20 temperature sensor is a digital temperature sensor that provides 9-bit to 12-bit Celsius measurements. It features a programmable alarm function with user-defined upper and lower temperature limits. This sensor communicates using a One wire bus, requiring only one data line and ground, making it easy to integrate with a microprocessor. It can also operate in parasite power mode, drawing power directly from the data line, eliminating the need for an external power source. Each DS18B20 has a unique 64-bit serial code, allowing multiple sensors to share the same data line. This makes it ideal for distributed temperature monitoring in HVAC systems, building automation, industrial equipment, and process control applications. A durable 830 mm PTFE cable and a genuine four‑position JST‑XH connector provide secure, direct mating with MCCI Catena® and IoT boards for wireless data transmission via LoRaWAN® networks or Sigfox.
