LITLG Hinterland

LITLG Hinterland is a light gray base non-super washed, non scratchy pure wool yarn from small UK sheep farmers. This fingering weight yarn is the perfect blend of 75% Bluefaced Leicester and 25% Gotland wool.  Gotland is a long silky wool that when spun and dyed produces a yarn with a wonderful luster reminiscent of mohair and good drape, with a little bit of a halo. The Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) has a beautiful luster, provides a lovely sheen to the finished yarn, and its drape is superior to many other wools. The result is a strong and soft yarn comfortable to wear against the skin. Thanks to the BFL, it is durable and recommend for socks too!
