Fluorite with Barite Specimen

This fluorite specimen features tessellated cubes of fluorite on a milky quartz matrix. Some of the cubes have decent clarity on their front faces, allowing a view to the matrix underneath. The presence of iron creates a purple/maroon coloring. The specimen also includes a small touch of barite, and druzy pockets on the base. This specimen would make a great addition to any mineral or crystal collection. It comes from Guizhou Province, China. It measures approximately 4.25 in. x 2.50 in. x 1.68 in. and weighs approximately 14 oz.
