Chrysanthemum Quartz Cluster

It's hard to capture the beauty of this specimen!  The tightly packed crystals on this cluster have perfect points and lots of rainbows. Many of the crystals are double terminated.  What makes this formation unique is the flower-like appearance created by the formation of the crystals.  You will see larger crystals flanked by smaller, needle-like pieces that radiate outward laterally. This is clearly seen on the bottom side of the specimen, where you'll find intact points and many etched crystal faces. A truly exceptional piece that would be at home in any mineral or crystal collection, or part of your home decor. It measures approximately 4.55 in. x 3.05 in. x 2.50 in. It weighs approximately 550g or 1 lb. 3 oz.
