Black Chalcedony with UV Calcite

This one-of-a-kind black chalcedony formation is ideal for any mineral or crystal collector. It features several interlocking plates of charcoal gray sphalerite coated with druzy quartz that gives it a "sugar-coated" look. One formation that juts out vertically, has wonderful transluent qualities because of the druzy quartz that is coating the dark minerals underneath. It is highlighted by spheres of brightly fluorescent calcite. Pyrite dusts the piece in a couple places. The underside reveals several pyramidal green fluorites that are coated in the sparkling druzy. A stunning statement piece for any collection! It comes from Fujian, China.
