
Good Grief Community Workshop | August 3 from 3-6p
This workshop will explore the sound, rhythm, and vibration of grief. In the spring workshop we came together in a powerful way to connect, write, and draw in response to thought provoking questions asking us to define a shape for our grief. Join us with fine artist and massage therapist Emily Vaughan Brown of Land Massage Therapy at Maven Theory to dive into and even celebrate the often isolating and silent experience of grief and mourning with curiosity in a creative new light. We believe that grief can be transcendental, that it is a process that can help each of us grow, evolve and reset the particles of our lives, and ultimately bring us closer to ourselves, others, and all the life around us. There is beauty in change and also mourning that can be shared. In this session we will respond to prompts through writing, drawing, and conversation asking what frequencies resonate with our experience of grief.
