The stole is a band of material worn by Bishops, Priests and Deacons for all liturgical services. It's origins are obscure but by the 12th century it was accepted by Rome and a contemporary custom has developed to embroider the stole with sacrament-specific emblems. This beautiful, raised multi-colored stole is lined and interlined textured Fortrel Polyester with the traditional golden wedding bands entwined on the cross. All liturgical colors are available.
