Bailong

This painting depicts an imaginary battle between Bai Long, one of the five dragons classified as King in Chinese lore, and a fictitious army that is a mixture of ancient Greece and Orientalism. I wanted to create a spectacular battle scene that takes place in the air. For this, what better way than to paint a massive dragon being attacked from all sides by fearless warriors?
